- ACSI International Math Competition
Annually about 7,000 students participate in the ACSI International Math Competition. Level 1 is considered a massive, global event that identifies exceptional mathematical thinkers. The top 30% of Level 1 participants are given an invitation to compete in Level 2 testing. That would be just over 2,000 students. Again, only the top 30% of Level 2 participants are granted the privilege to participate in Level 3 testing. That means the field has been trimmed to about 600 students. Four ECS students have achieved this honor:
Wendy Benjamin, grade 4George Ross, grade 4Elliot Carey, grade 3Isaac Disbro, grade 4
They will have to place in the top 30% of this elite group to become a math champion. What they have achieved thus far is incredible! They will be competing in the final round on April 17th. Encourage them as they continue to represent Christ and the ECS community with excellence.
