High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or youth program setting
Ability to supervise students in a calm, attentive, and consistent manner
Strong organizational skills, including accurate attendance tracking
Clear and professional communication skills with students, staff, and parents
Ability to follow school policies, safety procedures, and check-out protocols
Reliable transportation and consistent availability Monday–Friday, 2:45–5:15 PM
Ability to pass all required background checks and school compliance requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Ability to supervise indoor and outdoor activities
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
Ability to respond quickly in emergency or safety situations
Take daily attendance for after-school students
Assist with organized and safe after-school pick-ups
Supervise students and ensure safety at all times
Help create a calm, caring, and structured after-school environment
Communicate clearly with staff and families as needed
Full background check required

Can maintain structure while being warm and approachable
Works well as part of a team
