This is a full-time, school-year position. Salary and benefits package commensurate with academic preparation, experience, and past success in a Christian community.

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Science Education, or a related field required
Teaching license preferred but not required
Demonstrated knowledge of middle school science standards and instructional practices
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and instructional excellence
3–5 years of experience teaching middle school science or a closely related subject
Experience teaching life science, earth science, and/or physical science at the middle school level
Strong classroom management and lesson design skills
Ability to engage diverse learners through inquiry-based and hands-on instruction
Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned science instruction for middle school students
Facilitate hands-on labs, experiments, and inquiry-based learning experiences
Create a structured, positive classroom environment that supports curiosity and accountability
Assess student learning through labs, projects, and formative and summative assessments
Provide timely feedback and communicate academic progress with families
Collaborate with faculty and staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school-wide initiatives
Integrate a biblical worldview and wonder for God’s creation into instruction
Participate in required meetings, professional development, and school events
Personal commitment to Jesus Christ and alignment with Emmanuel Christian School’s mission
