What are vouchers & how do I apply?

Emmanuel Christian School participates in the School Choice program for the State of Indiana, commonly known as the voucher program. This program provides scholarships (vouchers) to eligible K-12 students by utilizing a portion of the state funds allocated for that child to follow them to the non-public school of their choice.

Once you have enrolled your child at ECS, we will ask you to provide proof of income and proof that you have residency in Indiana. Once we receive that information and see that you qualify, we will apply the voucher amount to your tuition payment.

For the 2025/2026 school year, families must meet specific income limits to qualify for a voucher.

Each school district gets awarded different amounts determined by the State of Education. Please note that kindergarteners DO qualify for vouchers as of July 1st, 2023!

Making Private Education Accessible

  • Registration Fee: $300 per student every year. (non-refundable)
  • Book & Technology Fee: Included in tuition.
  • Before School Care: $10 a day per child. 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM
  • After School Care: $10 a day per child. 3 PM - 5 PM
  • Scholarships (SGO) beyond voucher
  • Note: All families are required to enroll in a FACTS payment plan.
  • Payment Plan: 1. Annual Payment: Full tuition paid by July 1, 2025
  • Payment Plan: 2. Semi-Annual Payment: Two Equal Payments due July 1st, 2025 and January 1, 2026
  • Payment Plan: 3. Monthly: Twelve equal payments from August 2025- July 2026
  • You may use your child's 529 account to pay for tuition.

ECS offers need-based scholarships through partnerships with organizations like the Lutheran Scholarship Granting Organization. Families are encouraged to apply for financial aid during the enrollment process.
